The biogenetic natural reserve of Tomboli

The New Camping le Tamerici village is located 200 meters from the Tomboli biogenetic nature reserve which extends for 15 km from Marina di Cecina to Marina di Bibbona along the coast and it is certainly one of the most beautiful forests in Italy.

It was built in 1839 thanks to the personal commitment of the Grand Duke of Tuscany Leopoldo to protect the inland crops from salt and storms. Within this splendid pine forest there are pedestrian and bicycle paths with large areas also to be able to have a picnic or just a nap.
