SPAS OF SASSETTA AND VENTURINA
About 35 km south of the New Camping Le Tamerici there are two of the most popular spas in Tuscany. We are in the Val di Cornia area, a very short distance from the sea.
Here, surrounded by nature, are the Terme di Sassetta and the Terme di Venturina. Both thermal springs give an incomparable feeling of relaxation to the body, mind and spirit.
The Terme di Sassetta are decidedly suggestive. Set in the heart of a cool Mediterranean scrub forest, they are ideal for those seeking privacy and tranquillity. The local thermal water is rich in sulphates and minerals which have a therapeutic effect on various pathologies. In particular they are indicated to relieve dermatological problems, joint pain and chronic sinusitis. The Sassetta spa is modern and comfortable, and inside it is also possible to undergo beauty treatments and massages.
The thermal spring of Venturina is a historical source, already used by the Romans and the Etruscans. Venturina water is a panacea for the mind, a place of absolute relaxation surrounded by nature, quiet and peaceful.
